CustomVocalz LLC — Privacy Policy (Unified Version)
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
Governing Law: State of Wisconsin
By using CustomVocalz LLC (“CustomVocalz,” “we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to the following Privacy Policy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and manage your information throughout the CustomVocalz ecosystem, including CVLiveStream, the Founders Club, and all monetized and non‑monetized features. Your use of CustomVocalz signifies your consent to the practices described here.
CustomVocalz collects information you provide directly, including your account details, name, email, artist identity, uploaded music, metadata, livestream content, payment information, tax documentation, and any communication you send to us. We also automatically collect device information, usage data, IP addresses, analytics signals, and technical logs to maintain platform security and performance. When you upload music, CustomVocalz collects and processes audio files, stems, metadata, and originality‑verification data, including fingerprinting results, DSP‑matching logs, ISRC detection, and fraud‑prevention signals. You acknowledge that CustomVocalz may store and analyze this information to verify originality, detect violations, prevent fraud, and maintain the integrity of the platform.
CustomVocalz uses your information to operate and improve the platform, verify originality, process royalties, manage payments, enforce Terms, prevent fraud, personalize your experience, support A&R review, evaluate Founders Club eligibility, and maintain platform security. We may use your uploaded content and associated data to detect previously released music, identify copyright conflicts, and ensure compliance with our originality rules. You agree that CustomVocalz may use your information to contact you regarding updates, account issues, royalty matters, violations, or opportunities within the CustomVocalz ecosystem.
CustomVocalz processes all royalty‑related information internally. We collect and manage all revenue generated through your streams, apply the required 9% processing fee, and distribute earnings according to your subscription tier. To complete payouts, we may share limited information with third‑party payment processors such as Stripe or ACH partners. These processors receive only the information necessary to complete transactions, and you agree to their handling of your payment data as required for payout processing.
CustomVocalz may share information with trusted third‑party service providers who assist with platform security, analytics, fraud detection, payment processing, cloud storage, and technical infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to comply with legal processes, to protect CustomVocalz’s rights, or to enforce our Terms. If your account is terminated for violations, CustomVocalz may retain certain information for legal, financial, or security purposes, including originality‑verification logs, payment records, fraud‑related data, and any information necessary to comply with regulatory requirements.
You may request access to your personal information, request corrections, or request deletion of certain data. CustomVocalz may decline requests that compromise platform security, violate legal obligations, interfere with fraud prevention, or conflict with royalty or tax requirements. You acknowledge that uploaded music, fingerprinting logs, DSP‑matching results, and financial records may be retained even after account deletion or termination when legally or operationally necessary.
CustomVocalz uses industry‑standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption, secure servers, access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is completely secure, and you acknowledge that you use CustomVocalz at your own risk. CustomVocalz is not liable for unauthorized access, breaches caused by third‑party services, or issues arising from user negligence.
CustomVocalz may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated version. All matters relating to privacy, data handling, and information security are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in Wisconsin, and no class actions are permitted.
